I'm Katie Wade

And I'm a writer, brand strategist, and former tech executive.

After years in Silicon Valley, I realized that the tools I used to succeed professionally were the same ones that carried me through my personal healing journey- my intuition and a sense of humor. Now, I split my time between professional storytelling and creative outreach projects, including a very silly podcast called "Fartface", and a raw and hopeful memoir and companion newsletter titled "The Intuition Game".

Whether I’m ghostwriting for a founder, crafting brand messaging for a startup, or channeling inspiration into my newsletter, I’m guided by a desire to help others uncover the purest version of their own message.

There is a growing community of people learning to trust their own felt sense. If you're looking for inspiration and a laugh, please subscribe my newsletter and also my podcast Fartface (yes, the name is ridiculous, but so is being a woman in midlife.)

I co-host with my best friend Alisha who is a somatic healer and therapist. We talk about how hard it is to be human, share hilarious stories from our own lives, and offer tools and practices to help you care for your body, mind, and spirit along the way.

New Episode Out Now –
Fartface Podcast

Fartface started as an irreverent nickname between two best friends—and like all good nicknames, it holds much deeper meaning than either of us initially realized. It reflects how we’ve clung to each other—and to humor—when life felt like too much to bear. A reminder that silliness can save us.

Hosted by me, Katie—a writer who talks to aliens, and my best friend Alisha—a somatic healer and certified nutritionist, the show is part chaos, part catharsis. We talk about perimenopausal hormones, healing trauma, motherhood, escaping crappy corporate jobs in search of purpose, and what it means to be a woman with a body and a soul on planet Earth.

We created Fartface to build a community of women navigating the wild, messy middle of life—when you're too old to pretend, too wise to self-abandon, and still figuring out how to fully trust yourself.

Join us—or we’ll give you a noogie.

The Intuition Game

Through the lens of trauma recovery, motherhood, midlife, and mystical encounters, I aim to be a source of support for those who feel stuck, lost—or both. At a time when I felt completely unmoored, I began practicing intuitive decision-making in my daily life. Within a week of playing The Intuition Game, I was catapulted into another dimension—a sacred container where spirit guides, angels, and aliens can hold your hand as you wake up and remember who you were always meant to become.

This isn’t a place you stumble into by accident. You arrive here when you begin searching—and start listening to your soul.

If your soul has been whispering, “Something has to change,” this is where your journey begins: with your own intuition. I’ll provide three essential things to support you on your way back to yourself:

  1. Connection to others who understand spiritual transformation and can shine a light on your path

  2. Assurance that it is worth it—and that you aren’t going crazy

  3. A good, hard laugh when shit gets way too weird

It takes bravery to play The Intuition Game, but you don’t have to play it alone.
